Hey, you got a feature! Nice :)
Hey, you got a feature! Nice :)
thank you so much
What do you use these concepts for? Special plans or practice?
They are development concepts for our characters ! We note what we and the fans like, then we redraw the character until we reach a final design !
In big studio, most development concepts are scrapped, never to be shown to the world. We think it's a bit of a shame to do the same so I post them on behalf of the team ^^
Ooooh, now I see what that is. I thought it was a mist of some kind, but I just realized it's the other character XD
aww, thank you for rating, faving and reviewing this. I truly appreciate it.
If it's not human, I don't think assigning it can be done. For the human, yes. Androids aren't born, if an alien it can have both (hermaphrodite essentially), but more seems like it switches between the two. Futa are essentially perfect hermaphrodites, so I don't think they are gay or straight and not opted to choose the more functional part like hermaphrodites in reality. At that point it would come down to mentality and if they considered themselves straight, gay, or above both.
I'd imagine though in literal sense, it depends on what sexual organs are being used based on partner to say if the ACT itself is heterosexual or homosexual in nature.
As for the art, first time I've seen you animate! Nice first go at it!
Thank you so much for your thoughts.
In the world I've built so far for these characters, Vas's race of aliens are actually "androids" or cybernetic organic (and psionic) creatures that are kind of born. I'm not going to go into detail about it at the moment but my terminology is probably technically wrong because I don't think there's a term for robotic characters that are "born."
As for the gender I can only give terms that bring Vas closer to being more specifically categorized but hermaphrodite is probably the closest, though I hear it's a derogatory term, but I'm referring to a fictional character and trying to make specific definitions.
The gender stuff is on a spectrum and each individual can define themselves uniquely based on how they feel mentally and physically, and then others defining them can be a whole different story.
It's the first animation I've published for this project, I'm really glad you like it.
Thank you again for your thoughts, faving and rating this piece. You have been so kind.
This progress! Great job with it as it looks like you stuck with the same approach (unless specifically just for this piece).
Thanks! I did in fact use the same technique for both drawings, but the re-draw used way more conventional sketch-and-lineart steps. The old drawing started out with one big blotch of ink, and white/light values were "carved out" with the eraser tool. In the re-draw, a lot of the black was colored around finished lineart, and some details like the ribbons tied around her arms, the top of her hat and the flowers were carved out.
Armor rendering (or the polish rather) is beautiful. Very ceremonial.
Thank you. Yeah, ceremonial and fantasy tend to be the type my clients prefer over functional, so i tried to let my imagination go whilst still keeping things compacted.
The semirealism really works with this. Great job!
Thanks a lot, glad it worked the right way ^^!
Fantastic work with all this fantasy goodness! I don't see a lot of it on here, so a great find :)
Thank you! :) I kinda found myself in fantasy. Im glad you like :)
Hmm, you have a great approach with your painting, indeed~
wow! thank you :D
You do some amazingly beautiful scenery! Can't believe you haven't been found yet.
Thank you so much!
